The layout is as follows: main entry hall leads to the bathroom to the left
side, straight up through hanging beads curtain is the living room/bedroom,
the kitchen is off the living room/bedroom. The décor is modern.
The 14m2 living room/bedroom has a double sofa bed, a wooden armoire, a
small table, a lamp, a rectangular coffee table, a cabinet, a small TV, a
radio, two high stools, a small area rug and other minor decorative items.
The walls are off white, the floor has wooden parquet floor and there is a
window with fabric curtains and a second tiny window. There is Unlimited Internet connection by Cable*.
The open kitchen is equipped with an inlaid electric 2-burners stove, a
microwave, a fridge, a toaster, a manual coffee maker, a stainless steel
sink and a washing machine. In addition there are a few cabinets containing
some kitchen utensils and an eating counter, the walls are off white and the
floor has brick color tiles.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a manual shower protected by plastic sliding
doors, a sink, a single shelf, a mirror and a toilet. The walls are off
white with partial light green tiles; the floor has brick color tiles.
The organic open market (le marché du Poteau) is very charming and you can
find diverse food shops.
The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable, at the end of the 19th
century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre
maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably
intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, most
especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris is most
picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau
metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the
neighborhood.
